AFTER 10 years of being on the outside, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, better known as PDI-P, is set for the comeback trail. The party, after all, leads in most polls and with Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo as its most popular member, there is great optimism the party will grab the seat of power in next year’s elections. Party chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri is expected to bless Jokowi’s run for the presidency. Yet factions in the party are not united over the prospect.
